California Pizza Kitchen Redesigns Interiors To Attract Young Customers

California Pizza Kitchen on Saturday will present a redesigned Ohio Street outlet that has a rustic decor, as part of the strategy chain casual to attract young consumers food. Chicago downtown location is the third of 80 units to be refurbished by the end of 2016.


No two units will look exactly the same, the company said. The chain has also expanded its menu and added new drinks, including handcrafted cocktails made with fresh fruit, juices, purees and herbs.

"The new approach is de-chain chain, so no two restaurants will be exactly the same, and to renew its authentic food and drinks made to attract lovers young and sophisticated cuisine," said GJ Hart, executive director of California Pizza Kitchen.

In 2011, California Pizza Kitchen was sold to a private investment firm based in San Francisco, for about $ 470 million.
